The TDK InvenSense ICM-42688-P is a high-performance 6-axis MEMS motion sensor, integrating a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer to deliver precise motion tracking and orientation data. This sensor is widely used in UAV flight controllers, where real-time motion data is critical for achieving stable flight dynamics, accurate positioning, and responsive control.
This project focuses on designing and developing a custom breakout board PCB for the ICM-42688-P, enabling seamless integration with a variety of microcontrollers (MCUs) and embedded systems. The breakout board is engineered to provide high accuracy, low latency, and robust signal integrity, ensuring optimal performance in UAV and other motion-sensing applications. This modular design simplifies sensor interfacing, making it a versatile solution for flight control, robotics, and inertial navigation systems.
